St Joseph's
St Joseph’s is an exciting stepping stone into adult life. During a three years placement, students enjoy an exceptional and imaginative combination of teaching, social and extra curricular activities. The student’s daily lives, physical and emotional wellbeing, continue to be supported by our in house team of therapists.
The department is purposely residential to allow students time and space to develop their independence and to take calculated risks in a supportive environment. Students are encouraged to increase their independence and have fulfilling social lives.
The care and dedication of the staff enables young people to go out into the world and enjoying living with ambition and confidence.
“Being in St Joseph’s has helped me be more independent. Staff help me think about moving on and what I will do when I leave.”
Student – Chanal (aged 19)

Education
Our young people have choice. St Joseph’s presents the opportunity to work toward national qualifications including GCSE’s and ASDAN awards. The curriculum is delivered holistically. This approach aims to develop personal skills and interests whilst introducing a more college based environment in preparation for adult life.
“The care and support (of students) results in outstanding behaviour and personnel development.”
