Physiotherapy
The physiotherapist’s primary role is to ensure the comfort, health and functional ability of each child. They work with students to assist with maintaining joint range of movement, muscle length and independence. All students from Early Years through to St Joseph’s have access to physiotherapy as appropriate.
Each child has an individual treatment plan and receives therapy in the classroom, one to one sessions, group sessions and hydrotherapy. Any physical difficulty or discomfort encountered by a student throughout the school day is met by immediate access to a member of the team.
