Care
When a child or young person is happy, they have the best chance of progressing and achieving their goals. Ensuring that your child’s emotional needs are met is as important as their physical requirements. Being away from home is a big challenge. We create an environment that reassures young people who are away from home. With access to adapted minibuses, a private sitting room, the hydrotherapy pool and our new sensory garden, our facilities are excellent. Each large bedroom is a relaxed personal space. Residential students also have the reassurance of 24hour nursing support.
Our care staff are trained to NVQ Level 3 and are very attuned to the individual needs of each child. They work hard to ensure the children are happy and stimulated. A family environment is created with entertainment, games and trips out, irrespective of disability. Care staff collaborate with teachers, therapists and support staff to ensure that the right support is always available.
We offer a variety of flexible residential options to suit you and your child. These options can be discussed at point of enquiry.
"The strong team of teachers, support assistants and therapists, working in close partnership with parents, carers and other professionals, underpins the school’s very caring and supportive environment"
